Problem Note 56453: Table names might not be retrieved correctly when you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC with the unixODBC driver manager
Table names might be partially retrieved or not retrieved at all when you use SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC with the unixODBC driver manager in a SAS® UTF-8 session. You might encounter this issue in SAS Explorer, in DATASETS procedure output, or when you register tables in SAS® Management Console.
This issue is caused by how the driver manager handles the underlying data types. You might be able to circumvent the issue if you use the ODBC Driver Manager from Progress DataDirect.
